You have been posting on Xiaohongshu for a while and want to know whether the account is going anywhere, without waiting for someone to build a report. Ask Sourso “how is Xiaohongshu doing” and a fixed dashboard appears in Operate straight away, updated in place if you ask again the same day.

One question, rendered at once

Most reports in Operate come from an analyst who runs once the data is in. The Xiaohongshu dashboard is different. It is a fixed template filled from the snapshot stored at the last sync, so it renders the moment you ask. No queue, nobody writing it.

The AI CMO answers in chat with one line: the dashboard is in Operate, and the snapshot is from such-and-such a date. Open the Operate tab and it is there. Ask again later the same day and the same dashboard is refreshed in place; a second copy is never stacked on top.

The dashboard is in Operate, built from the snapshot of 16 October. Say "sync again" if you want today's numbers.
One question, one line back. The AI CMO says where the dashboard is and when the snapshot was taken; the numbers are on the dashboard.

What is on it

Block Contents
Past notes Views, likes, comments, saves and shares for each note
Official metrics Account-level numbers from Creator Center, as reported
Audience profile Who follows you, as Creator Center shows it
Diagnosis Posting frequency, save rate, strongest topic

The diagnosis is computed from the three blocks above it. Posting frequency comes from the gaps between publish dates, save rate is saves divided by views, and the strongest topic is ranked by note metrics. Each of the three can be traced back to the notes it came from.

The per-note block holds the same notes the history import brought in. A note you posted after the last sync is not on it until you sync again.

Facts and unknowns

A number on the dashboard has one of two origins: Creator Center reported it, or it was computed from numbers Creator Center reported. There is no third kind.

If a metric was not read at the last sync, say the follower count, the dashboard shows “unknown”. It never fills in a zero, because zero is a claim and unknown is not. If a diagnosis line depends on a metric that is unknown, that line is marked too, instead of being computed on a missing value.

Sync again to refresh

The dashboard reads a snapshot, so its numbers stop at the last sync. For current ones, tell the AI CMO “sync again”. The cloud browser opens Creator Center, reads everything afresh, the dashboard refreshes in place, and the AI CMO tells you the new snapshot date.

The sync uses the cloud browser that is logged in to Xiaohongshu. If a captcha or a fresh login comes up, it stops and sends a “needs you” card.

For a written diagnosis, ask the audience analyst

The diagnosis on the dashboard is three short lines. If you want an analysis in prose, who your readers are, which kind of note keeps them, what to post next, tell the AI CMO “have the audience analyst write a diagnosis”. It reads the same snapshot and its report sits in Operate beside the dashboard.

Nothing is written unless you ask. The dashboard is fixed; the report is on request.

Two accounts, two dashboards

With two Xiaohongshu accounts connected there are two dashboards, told apart by the name and note you gave each account. Ask “how is the company account doing” and that one is the one you get. The numbers are never merged, because the two accounts have different followers and different notes. Each dashboard also carries its own snapshot date, since the two accounts are synced separately.

Before you start

  1. The account is connected and its history has been imported once. Before the first sync the dashboard is all unknowns.
  2. Know which account you mean. With two, put the name in the question.
  3. To carry the numbers into a weekly update, see Ten minutes a week for the boss.
