You post on Xiaohongshu when you remember to, and afterwards you cannot say which notes did anything. This guide gets your past notes into Sourso and mines them, so the next topic comes from what already worked instead of a guess.

Connect the account

Open settings and pick Xiaohongshu. Both the mainland site and RedNote connect the same way. Sourso opens a separate browser for this account on its cloud computer, shows you a QR code, and you scan it with the Xiaohongshu app. The login stays in that browser only. Nothing is stored on your own machine.

Once the login goes through, Sourso reads the account nickname and uses it as the default name. If you run two accounts, say a company account and a personal one, give each a name and a one-line note. The publish panel and the dashboards tell them apart by that name and note from then on. Click either one to change it.

The account is yours. What you grant is access for this workspace.

Import the history

With the account connected, tell the AI CMO to import the history. The cloud browser opens Creator Center and reads the published notes one by one, together with the official metrics Xiaohongshu reports for each. You can watch the screen in chat while it reads. If a captcha or a fresh login comes up, it stops and sends you a “needs you” card; once you handle it, it carries on.

What it brings back lands in two places. The note text and metrics are stored as rows for the analysis that follows. On the Brand page, under Assets, the “imported from connections” group now lists the notes.

Posts you wrote earlier on X can go into Assets too. They are not counted in the Xiaohongshu mining, but the writers can read them as material when drafting something new.

Four steps from account to topics. Only the second step opens Xiaohongshu; the last two run on rows already stored.

Ask for the hot words

Type this in chat: mine the hot words from my past notes.

The AI CMO hands it to two people. The history reader goes through the stored notes one by one. The topic and hot-word miner counts over what the reader found. Neither of them goes back to Xiaohongshu; they read the stored rows and nothing else. That is why this step is quick and does not tie up the cloud browser. You can ask again after the next import, and the count runs over the new rows as well.

What comes back has three parts:

Part What is in it
Recurring topics Subjects you have written about more than once, ordered by how often
Audience wording The words readers use in your titles and text, as opposed to industry terms
Strongest notes The notes that did best, each with views, likes and saves attached as evidence
Mine the hot words from my past notes
Read all 37 notes. Three subjects keep coming back, and readers save them. They are below.
Topics you could write

Do numbers in the title help2 notes · readers' own words

The topic card in chat. The grey text on the right is the evidence: how many of your notes covered it and how readers reacted.

Every topic carries its evidence: which past notes it came from and how those notes did. A note with no metrics is shown as unknown, never as zero.

Hand the topic to the AI CMO

Pick one and say “write the first one next”. The AI CMO sets the topic and passes it to the Xiaohongshu writer, who writes to the platform’s rules: spoken register, 300 to 800 characters, no links. The draft waits for you in Solve. Publishing it is covered in One idea, posted to Xiaohongshu and X.

A mined topic can also go into Topics & Questions on the Brand page. If readers keep searching for it, ask the keyword researcher to write it up as a keyword with its phrasings, and the next collection will check whether AI platforms name you when asked.

Before you start

  1. Have the Xiaohongshu app on your phone. The QR scan needs it.
  2. The account needs a few published notes. An empty account imports nothing.
  3. Two accounts means two connections, each with its own name and note.
