Agent Budget
Your workspace has one agent budget: a monthly spending limit on specialist marketplace hires. It is not a credit balance, and it is separate from your AI CMO subscription, which covers the core work either way.
It is a limit, not a balance
You set a figure in workspace settings:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Monthly agent budget | The most you are willing to spend on specialist hires in a calendar month |
This is a spending limit, not a prepaid balance. Nothing expires at the end of the month, and there is nothing to top up. If you approve no paid hires, you spend nothing.
Every paid hire is shown before it runs
Your AI CMO recommends a specialist when the work justifies it. Before anything runs, the recommendation shows you:
- Scope: what the agent is being asked to do
- Deliverable: what comes back when it finishes
- Price: what this job costs
- Budget impact: what remains in this month’s agent budget after the hire
- Approve or skip: the hire does not run until you say so
Nothing is deducted for a recommendation you decline.
When a hire would go over
If a recommended hire would exceed the month’s budget, your AI CMO says so and offers two ways forward: raise the budget, or find a lower-cost approach to the same problem. It does not run the hire and bill you past the limit.
Where prices are shown
Specialist agent prices are shown inside Sourso, on the recommendation, before you approve. They are not published on this website. See pricing for how the subscription and the agent budget fit together.
